The most animated and most famous event of the archipelago, sometimes compared to a small carnival in Rio! The carnival of the island of São Vicente is celebrated with a grand parade on Tuesday guy. King Momo is then burned before the Ash celebration. A carnival rooted in Cape Verdean traditions.
